sorry that having no time for reading the article carefully -

i´m on plays --------

immersion means the audience is transformed from an explicit view to an implicit view (i write view - not point of view) - so, the control (YES !!) wanders from the consciousness of the audience to the makers of production - the audience itself is stunned to a kind of subconsciousness - control here means there´s no control from the audience side of view related to the stage - the author (makers, producers) becomes a force of immanence within the audience - so, there´s no real mutual relation anymore - this escapes the audience because the audience is within a realm of the implicit - the audience is unable to translate this situation into one of the explicit -

the embaressment factor - is another form of control - the explicit escapes the "victim" - and... but... it´s a technic to enforce the "victim´s" body control - the "victim" shifts to tacit body knowledge - seeks to play out a routine - so this leads not really to participation - (it´s the same old story john cage had with the order of the chairs for one of his audiences - the audience reshaped an order that wasn´t intended - the chairs stood disordered - the audience tends to seek for a known form - 50 per cent of the audience left the show in the beginning - why - the loudspeakers had been set to the disordered form - this disordered form related to the sonic here is completely different from using headphones nowadays - here is no kind of immersion - it´s -ok- a kind of embaressment - it´s a little part brechtian ?? - why - here the audience has to get the explicit to understand the show - that´s what i intended to say about mark´s current reviews)
